We believe that dance should build confidence, creativity, and lasting friendships — ages 2–18.
Classes are offered to ensure that your child will thrive and grow at their level. At Inspire Dance we give you the choice. If you are dancing for exercise, something fun to do and learn, or want to be more serious and compete — we have options for everyone. Our studio will help build a well-rounded dancer, and we are excited to watch our dancers grow and excel while gaining confidence and finding their passion.
We let our students go month to month; we don't lock anyone into a contract. We want our students to stay because they love Inspire Dance. We just ask for the courtesy of one month's notice in writing prior to unenrolling.

Our next-door neighbors are a med spa, massage therapist, nail salon, hair salon and a boutique — treat yourself just steps from the studio while your dancer is in class.
Choose Dance Tumble Fun — ballet, jazz, tap and tumbling all in one (recommended for new dancers ages 2–6) — or take individual classes in ballet, contemporary, tumbling/acro, hip-hop and more. You can also join our award-winning Company Team (try-out/placement required).

What we teach
Ages 2–6
Our Dance, Tumble, and Fun class is designed especially for young dancers ages 2–6. In this playful and active class, children explore Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Tumbling in a fun, creative environment. Each week brings new ways to move, learn, and build confidence — all while having a blast! Learn multiple dance styles, build coordination & motor skills, boost confidence through movement & fun. No experience necessary.
All levels
Ballet classes at our studio offer students the chance to develop strength, grace, and confidence. Dancers will learn classical technique through barre exercises, center work, and choreography. Our classes focus on building strong foundations while inspiring a love of movement — perfect for beginners as well as experienced dancers.
Ages 7–11
Beginning ballet and tap, each one half of the class. A fun class to introduce dancers to these classic styles of dance.
Ages 3+
A high-energy, fun-filled class where kids learn exciting hip-hop dance moves, develop tumbling skills, and put it all together into thrilling routines they'll love to perform.
Ages 7+
This class builds on jazz technique while stressing isolations, core strength, and flexibility. Students will focus on development including extensions, jumps, turns and technique combinations. They will also learn jazz routines.
Middle & High School
This class will focus on advancing each dancer's technique, flexibility, and strength through an extensive and comprehensive warm up and across the floor work. We will also focus on growing artistry through movement as well as emotional artistry and connectivity to the music. This is done through Lyrical/Contemporary dance combinations as well as the art of improvisation.
Monthly tuition
$50 school year registration / $20 summer registration. Month to month — we never lock anyone into a contract.
Our space
Two full studios, a parent observation room with large viewing windows, and a dancer's room with lockers and a water station. It's a clean, organized environment where dancers bond before, during and after class.

Owner / Director — Jazz, Dance Team & Company Team
Ms. Amanda has taught dance classes for over 20 years and has owned 3 different studios in 3 states. She danced in high school on dance team and cheerleading, then moved on to a collegiate dance team and a professional dance company. She traveled studying dance and learned from many of the greats! She has degrees in psychology and communicative disorders (speech therapy), works as a part-time speech therapist and is certified in Special Education. Her passion is teaching dance, which is like planting a seed and watching something amazing grow! She created Inspire Dance to offer quality lessons at an affordable cost — building a studio like family where everyone is welcomed and loved.
Sr. Company Team — Contemporary, Hip-Hop / Tumbling, Jazz
Taylor grew up in San Antonio and went to Smithson Valley High School, where she was part of the dance team. During her four years on the team she served as Chaplain and President of the Spurs. After high school she attended Northeast Lakeview and is currently studying sonography. She has been teaching at Inspire for 3 years, 2 of them with award-winning company team choreography. We love Taylor!

FAQs
Yes and no. We don't require everyone to wear a specific colored leotard or top, however everyone needs to wear dance attire to each class. For ballet it's recommended you wear a leotard and tights. Hair not in the face and pulled back.
No, we have open enrollment throughout the year. We ask you give us one month notice in writing prior to leaving the studio.
Yes, we have a Christmas Program and a Recital at the end of the school year. We may be invited to perform at local events, and our company team (The Movement) goes to competitions in the spring.
Ages 5–18 can be on company team. We have different teams and levels based on placement. Message us or talk to a teacher if interested — there is more information on our Company Teams page.
All missed classes can be made up by taking any class we offer. We follow the Comal ISD school schedule — when they are off school, the studio is closed. This is considered in the yearly tuition.
